The Challenge
Empower3D, a subdivision of IFC, focuses on additive manufacturing as a solution for product development. In order to be able to expand the scope of customer offerings, IFC is continuously looking for ways to advance the technology within their labs. At the time they became familiar with Mosaic, IFC was searching for a printer that offered an open approach to third party materials to allow them greater flexibility for product testing. Element and Element HT offer a robust but affordable solution for organizations who are experimenting with additive manufacturing or who produce a smaller volume of 3D printed parts. Both Element and Element HT are open to third party materials; Element HT also boasts the capacity to print with high temperature materials.
