2014
Mosaic was founded in Toronto, Canada with a clear ambition: to expand what 3D printing could achieve. Starting as a small team of engineers and builders, the company focused on solving complex multi-material challenges and pushing additive manufacturing beyond basic prototyping.
2017
The launch of Palette introduced Mosaic’s patented multi-material technology, enabling reliable multi-filament printing on standard FFF systems. This breakthrough established Mosaic as an innovator and demonstrated the company’s ability to solve difficult, real-world technical problems.
2021
As customers sought more than hardware, Mosaic expanded into software with the development of Canvas, a digital manufacturing platform designed to manage files, build preparation, and production workflows. Canvas marked the beginning of Mosaic’s connected manufacturing ecosystem, giving users greater visibility and control over their additive operations.
2022
Mosaic introduced Element, a high-temperature industrial FFF printer designed for engineering-grade materials and reliable operation. Element strengthened Mosaic’s position in production-focused additive manufacturing, supporting demanding applications with multi-material capability and industrial performance
2023
With the launch and expansion of Array, Mosaic moved firmly into factory-connected, automated manufacturing. Combining robotics, intelligent software, and high-performance FFF printing, Array enables scalable polymer part production with minimal manual intervention, bringing additive manufacturing into true production environments.
Now
Today, Mosaic is focused on enabling digital, on-demand inventory systems that replace traditional supply chains with resilient, localized production. Through its integrated ecosystem of hardware, software, and services, Mosaic helps manufacturers adopt additive manufacturing as a scalable, reliable production solution.
